    Gothic 2 discussion/questions/tips

Any other good G2 total conversions (with at least English subtitles) aside from Velaya and Archolos? I'm aware of Asshun and Odyssey, but haven't played them. What's the Codex' consensus on those? Not interested in Overhaul-type mods like L'hiver or Returning.

Any singleplayer rpg with a similar aesthetic?

Looks a bit like dungeon siege I guess (warning: shit)

Gothic 1, best atmosphere. Please excuse big black bar cutting off top of screenshots. Or LMK if you know how to fix it.

What game are you wasting time on?

Finished kotor 2, was great. Will play it again some day, can't really see myself replaying the first one, though. Started Mass Effect. Seems kinda shitty so far tbh. Only 1.5 hours in but feel like I've seen enough to know that it's not for me. I might replay Gothic, Witcher 1 or VTMB...

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Yeah they said 4x bigger AND packed with more content than ever or some shit to that effect. Which to my mind implies more shit worth exploring. You really didn't play much of it did you? "WHAT? MONGOLOID? ME?"

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

it was a kinda stupid question, tbh. what kind of answer were you expecting? lol

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Why would you even hang out in the sequel thread of a game that you barely played and disliked enough to call boring generic trash? I kinda gathered from your question that you somewhat enjoyed the first game. To each his own, I don't give a fuck if you hate a game I like, I can even understand...

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

well, you know as much as the rest of us, but to answer your question anyway: new content, larger number of vocations apparently, presumably minor improvements over the original (ie. less shit consumable/inventory system) you could ask the same question of many good sequels, anyway: BG2...
