  1. Your least faveorite rpg. Which oneand why?

Diablo II is a roguelike action RPGs and is one othe most addictive games ever.
  2. Biggest Disappointments

The collector's edition of the game is quite an enjoyable and fun throwback dungeon crawl type of game. I like it quite a bit. It's worth playing. Just don't expect much in way of dialogue choices My biggest disappointment is Oblivion. So many horrible design decisions. none worse than the...
  3. Eschalon: Book I (super poll)

Huh, I think Depths of Peril is excellent and I bought it.
  4. Oh no, there will be Dungeon Lords addon and a sequel!

I agree. I loved all the different dungeons, and the lock picking mini-game was excellent. The character development system was good too. It was very old school and was just plain fun.
  5. Oh no, there will be Dungeon Lords addon and a sequel!

The Collector's Edition of Dungeon Lords was quite a good game actually. Not the greatest RPG for that matter, and very much a throwback, but it was fun and interesting. The different classes plated very diffently and the combat system was enjoyable. The press release said that it sold a million...
  6. Oldest CRPG you can still tolerate playing

Good to see some votes for Bloodwych and Dungeon Master. I still play Dungeon Master from time to time and it holds up suprisingly well.
  7. Two Worlds - any good?

liked it a lot. It was fun, and is one of the types of games that seem to have been developed in order because the settings and graphics get better the deeper you get into the game. It is not especially deep, and really kind of a free roaming Action RPG, but that is not necessarily a bad thing...
  8. What you think about Gothic 2?

Easily in my top 10 RPGs, especially G2 with NOTR. The only small grip I have is the linearity at the end, and the fact that at the very end you are pretty much a demi-god. But to get there is quite an experience, and through much of the game even scary. Very replyable as the different...
  9. Game News Depth of Peril is now available

I bought it and I am quite enjoying it. No deep conversation trees, no story but a very very interesting blend of a strategy/diplomacy game with a quite good if not truly excellent Diablo II type game. Graphics look quite nice in high resolutions and it has that "i'll just pplay a little longer"...
  10. Game News Todd Howard talks about Fallout

The esteemed Codex will hate FO3 just as it hates just about everything That is a complete sentence. What is your issue?
  11. Game News Todd Howard talks about Fallout

What exactly is incomprehensible or unfinished about my original post?
  12. Game News Todd Howard talks about Fallout

I did finish my point. Whst id your point, exactly?
  13. Game News Todd Howard talks about Fallout

That is generally not necessarily true outside of the Codex here. Truth be told, as much as I admire it and enjoyed it for a while, all the dialogue in PS:T got old, very old, before I could finish the game. The esteemed Codex will hate FO3 just as it hates just about everything
  14. Favourite RPG

    None of those.
