  1. Revisiting VtM: Bloodlines

Because they cannot help themselves! They need to insert their own ideas & sensitivities into an old (and usually offensive in their eyes) game.
  2. Vapourware Zodiac Legion - X-COM and dungeons

The choice depends on the cost of implementing it and testing it. Both choices are good with the first option been ideal. If you can afford the cost go for it otherwise the 2nd option is good enough.
  3. Incline RPG Codex's Best RPGs - 2024 - VOTING IS CLOSED

Top RPGs: * Shadowrun: Dragonfall * Quest for Glory 4: Shadows of Darkness * Fallout 1 * Fallout 2 * Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines * Wizardry 7: Crusaders of the Dark Savant * Wizardry 8 * Realms of Arkania: Shadows over Riva * Dark Sun: Shattered Lands * Might and Magic 6: The Mandate of...
  4. Indie Lair Of The Leviathan - old school turn-based RPG based on classics such as Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, Phantasie, Ultima and the SSI Goldbox games.

The game looks amazing (especially the world map) but why a jrpg combat system???? why? the Phantasie's combat system (or Wizardry) it is not that much more difficult to implement and it much more interesting.

  7. Wadjet Eye Old Skies - time travel adventure game from Wadjet Eye, now 2D again

Gilbert really need to reduce the scope of the game! If he wanted to go for full HD for art he should have made a smaller game first before going for a multi mission style. He even added multiple costumes for the main heroine (one per mission from what I understand) further increasing the art...
  8. World of Darkness Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 - VTMB sequel from The Chinese Room - coming Fall 2024

Εven so it shows that only the fans can capture the VtM atmosphere.
  9. World of Darkness Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 - VTMB sequel from The Chinese Room - coming Fall 2024

There is a Skyrim mod under development named Vampire the Masquerade Redemption Reawakened that plan to recreate the VtM Redemption game in a similar style to VtM Bloodlines. And the funny thing is that it looks way better (even in its current state) that Bloodlines 2
  10. X-COM OpenXcom Thread

You shoud have started with OpenXcom instead of the original game/engine. OpenXcom fixes several bugs of the original game (one of which is the fact that the game switch to easy difficulty automatically after the first combat - if I remember correctly) and also allow you to fix some weird...
