  1. Unreal World 3.01

Dude! UnReal World is my favorite rogue-like, played and replayed ever since 2001, fucking great game! The only thing that I dislike are the avatars, they could've done a better job drawing pictures in Paint, then taking photos of themselves and staping themon the background. Edit: Fuck I...
  2. Which of the IE games do you prefer and why?

I allwais thought that Torment was one of the prettiest 2D games. The only pronblem I have with the IE is that NPCs and PCs walk too slowly, but PS:T solved that by adding a "run" option, not too mention it had the smallest maps and the largest zoomed in interface out of the whole IE games.
  3. Which of the IE games do you prefer and why?

Shadows of Amn had its moments: the quest that the dragon gives youin the Underdark, raiding the vampire tomb, killing your first dragon, acting like a sarcastic S.O.B. (usualy the last 2 dialog lines where you get to act bawlsy). Too bad it was so long, if they cut out the bad parts they...
  4. Teh Difficulty in RPGs

I'm amongst the pussies who don't mind easy fights, in fact I hate reloading 5 times just to kill the dragon at the begining of Might and Magic 7 or reloading to test my enemy's preformance in BG or IWD and then reload to select the spells and scrolls necesary. I realy don't like hard fights...
  5. I WIN.

Since ESF was my first forum, I was shocked when I first saw people saying "shit" "fuck" and "bullshit" in their posts and then there was the TUBGIRL link, but that was nothing compared to OBLIVION SUCKS!!! how dare they judge a game with reason and not sucking up to the awesom screenies!Clearly...
  6. Underused settings or themes?

The holy Inquizition. Imagine what it would be like to play a judge or an advocate in those times and you had to choose between being the churces bicth and earning bags of money by supporting their corupt and fals claims or protecting truth, but risking being burned has a heretic.
  7. I WIN.

Heh, the good days when they actualy replied to our criticism. Unfortunately I joined a tad to late.
  8. I WIN.

Darkflame, you do know that Pete is allready a member here with the name Pete, right? Anyway, the link is hilarious.
  9. "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. a big brother for Fallout 3 ?"

Why do you ask? The character creation covers 4 different skills for combat along with other non-combat skills. I never added points to the combat skills because I figured out how to properly use the lame targeting system, in fact I went through the last levels in full guns blazing having...
  10. "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. a big brother for Fallout 3 ?"

Adding combat stats in a FPS is a crime. Statistics should only cover puzzle solving and interaction. The character creation should cover things like Lockpicking, Dialog skills, Repair, Doctor, etc. Combat and Sneaking should be up to the player's skills.
  11. Favorite games boxart (non-RPG)

    I just stumbled across this.
  12. Wild West RPGs - who knows one of them?

Gun is a PS2 game... CoJ has a cool story and atmosphere, but the shooting is chaotic and inacurate. Oh and it's very short, the storyline might seem like something that can gow on for 60 hours, but the ending is rushed and you can finish it in arround 10-15 hours. If you want a good FPS...
  13. The current Western RPG era will simply lack a legacy

I can't stand MMORPGs. The only multyplayer FPS's I enjoyed were AvP2 and Counter-Strike (OH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!). Strategy games IMO are the best experience to share online. Warcraft 2, Starcraft, Homeworld, Age of Empires 2, Sudden Strike, C&C games, Battle Realms, Heroes 2 & 3 and...
  14. Wild West RPGs - who knows one of them?

Gunfights in CoJ are a pain in the ass. Guns are inacurate and have little ammo, half of them take a while to reload. The game would've been 50% better if there was an ability to use bullet time without drawing your guns because it's kinda a silly to use this again and again, plus it's annoying...
  15. Wild West RPGs - who knows one of them?

Ditto on Desperados! Great fucking game with a solid Wild West atmosphere
