Read a leak a while ago that claimed that R* had changed the mission structure allowing for player freedom, approach, choices, bringing back a lot of stuff from SA, stealth playstyle now being an actual and viable gameplay style, stats etc.
I'm very curious about these. Obviously I have no expectations whatsoever.
It's so weird how they seem to be unable on a technical level I would assume, to bring back literally the 1 to 1 features from SA into their HD games era. It would not hurt the games at all. We stay happy with the gameplay and activities and everything else and the movie going idiots stay happy with their UHD XXk resolution graphics, story, voice acting, characters, narrative, music etc.

Understandable. I will probably never check out myself, I'm just too entrenched in this hobby. But AAA gaming is a big no-no already. Even if they would make okay games, pos-wise, they are such broken products currently. Not worth the dollar-to-fun ratio at all.

Searched for complaints about Twin Peaks: A Limited Events Series only having white actors. (I think the prostitute was the only colored one.) Couldn't find any articles or threads. Didn't add social media site names to the search, though. Seems like companies create these false depictions of reality where there are brown people everywhere for no one, like there is no significant group asking for it and no one would be upset if they chose to be more truthful with their casting. I know there is that international group that gives studios points or something that translate to money, but I doubt they alone are causing this. Again, seems like they virtue signal to no one. Vast majority of people don't actually care, as the lack of criticism to Twin Peaks' casting in a time when overwhelmingly white casts are so rare indicates.

I agree. I'm gonna get myself a Deck OLED at some point and replay old games, perhaps even explore indie games (I've never been on Steam). I've also got plenty to work through on my old consoles. It's all enough to last me a few decades at least.
