Vivendi Universial is contemplating at putting its Game unit on sale. This unit comprises numerous studios including - Blizzard Entertainment, Knowledge Adventure, Sierra Entertainment, Interplay and Universal Interactive which generates approximately $600 million dollars a year in revenue.

Vivendi is looking to gain 1.94 billion dollars from the sale which many analysts predict is unrealistic. There are numerous potential buyers for this unit ranging from Microsoft to Sony, to even EA. But as yet nothing has been announced and none of the companys have confirmed or denied their interest in the games unit. This is all speculation, but if it turns out to be true, could affect the PC industry quite substantially.

Of course, Blizzard Entertainment, Sierra Entertainment and Interplay, in the past have produced some of the best RPG's in history {And no, i'm not referring to Diablo}. How these company's will be affected with the sale is hard to say, but at any rate interesting times are soon to come.

I think I found a bug! I think I found a bug!

If you click on any of those links in that post (from this forum, except for the vivendi universal link), it tries to take you to something like this:
http://www.rpgcodex.com/phpBB/www.sierrastudios.com

Either it's a bug, or Ibbz made a mistake in the post. I don't care who's fault it is... Just as long as you tell me so that I can yell and whine at them.

waits for Calis to:
>SQUISH DA BUG<

or waits for Ibbz to:
>EDIT DA BUG IN HIS POST<

>DarkUnderlord goes and hides under a rock and waits for everyone to calm down before he can come out again and find something else to complain about<

Well i actually fixed it before i read your post.

That give me an idea - Calis would you be able to put in say a preview of the news piece instead of the page which rerouts us in 5 sec ? You could make people confirm it aswell. I'm not sure if i'm the only one, but looking for errors in the news box isnt the easiest.

Your wish is my command. :D
Preview option is in. The first "submit" now takes you to a preview screen that also allows you to make some final changes before submitting the news post. Cancelling is also possible of course, by simply not pressing the "submit" button in the preview screen.
