Press 2 for Power! Here's a good question for you, Swen - at the last Panel from Hell, you've said that this game's central themes are about power, the corrupting nature of it, and how far would you go to achieve it. Something of that nature. Where is that in the game?
Swen dashing off with the bag and not finishing the game while prancing around crowing about how enlightened he is.Here's a good question for you, Swen - at the last Panel from Hell, you've said that this game's central themes are about power, the corrupting nature of it, and how far would you go to achieve it. Stay mad, casual. Real loreheads know:Gygax and Ameson weren't degenerates. At least all who enjoy D&D can take confort in that. It was a nerd's game before it somehow became a playing ground to gender benders and fetishists.
Greenwood came to the fray much later and was tamer in the 80s due to 'kwanzan society still having some sanity left.
All they have to do is make him/her a dwarf and problem solved. There was a rumored Helia or some shit, which was supposed to be a bard halfling affected by lycanthropy.
Too bad they sacked the concept entirely for unknown reasons. In part probably because they listened to the feedback about making minor NPCs that appeared in EA companions.
In part because the user base on their forum at some point made them realize what a risk it was to allow the player to have canonically sex with a child-sized lady.
Romance doesn't necessarily mean sex, plus BG3 had sex scenes for lizards and bears.Short races aren't romanceable ('cause nobody wants to have sex with midgets) so i predict they'll eventually disappear from those kind of games altoghether.

Nigger. The companions in BG 3 in general only cares about themselves. They don't give a shit about what other people in the team do. The only exception is in chapter 1(again, everything interesting about the game is almost exclusively in chatper 1) where shadow heart and la'zel fight with each other, once. Ane it's never mentioned again.
They might disagree with what others do, but they will only complain about it to the PC and then just forget about it.
And they will never do anything on their own unless the PC is with them. Normally in CRPG the progression of personal quests are often progressed by the companions themselves, they will tell you that they have found the information they need but they need your help for the next move or something. In BG 3 there is none of that.
They are basically lifeless mannequins when not interacting with the PC.
Fukken origin characters, this "killer feature" is so ruins single player experience. They are basically lifeless mannequins when not interacting with the PC.
Uh huhMY FRIEND TOLD ME
Please post examples thxLol MY FRIEND TOLD ME there are JAV actresses that are 145cm tall.
Asians exist. It must trigger Reddit immensely.
That's the issue, when comes to RPG you kinda need to make this sorta of sacrificies, especialy one as open as this one.Imagine how many resources they invested in things which 99% of players won't ever see.

Otherwise it slowly becomes Bioware or Bethesda , where you're doing all content in mind to all players to experience and end up leaving all other branching path lacking or nearly identical. I'm sure 99% of people won't be using talk to animals but it's pretty neat that you can see the little frindship betwee Scratch and Owlbear Cub.
Dumbest casual or that one guy that can't be bother to recast Speak to animal every long rest (me)That's the issue, when comes to RPG you kinda need to make this sorta of sacrificies, especialy one as open as this one.Imagine how many resources they invested in things which 99% of players won't ever see.

Nah, I'm pretty sure that is a feature most players use since it is so easily acessible(infinite potions). Same thing with speak with the dead. I imagine only the dumbest casual missed that out.
Voiced bard insults for Karlach and Gale? Unique scenes for every origin character? Those are missable for most players.
