The only negative comments you'll find are all coming from people who have never laid
eyes on 4.04AT, nor have they read the official thread for our patch. You may also
notice that they complain about drama by... creating drama. 'Nuff said.

As for accusations of being a "thief," that issue was settled quite some time ago and the
patch that it referred to was not written by me. I simply play tested and hosted it. Patch
4.04AT is a completely original work and it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with
anyone other than me, Acrimonious and Troika Games. We created this patch. Nobody
else. That's a fact. Just accept it, and move on.

I'm sure that putting a notice up saying "don't come in kids!" makes it work every time. The primary market for nude patches are the under 18 guys who can't get any sex. I'd bet that the majority of people using your skins fit into that. I can't imagine who else would want them or why. I especially enjoyed the WoW drama that someone uncovered too when it turned out you had endless characters and were harassing people online until you were pushed out and now demand a boycott for it for "anyone over 13". Bizarre. For one who complains about drama and unrelated opinions you sure liked to stir it up elsewhere.

No, nude mods are for people who enjoy seeing nudity. I'm in my mid-30's, I'm engaged
to a beautiful girl, I have more sex in one week than you've had in a year and yet, I
create nude mods. In addition, some of the finest nude mods that I know of were
created by married women. That sorta puts the lie to your prudish suppositions.

We have nothing to be sorry for. If anything, you should apologize for your own behavior. I will say that we are very proud of our ongoing success and we will continue to do our best work for the player community-at-large... which you, my friend, do not represent in the slightest. Over here, I see three or four malcontents, who have too much free time on their hands. Meanwhile, over on tessmage.com, I see a 794% increase in site traffic (downloads in particular) over the past few months. Yes, that figure was seven hundred and ninety-four percent. Case closed. Both my mods and our patches are being downloaded like hotcakes. Those are the facts and I am delighted.

We have created an actual patch -- not a mod. If you prefer mods, then by all means -- use them, but do so with the knowledge that you do not know how to properly play Bloodlines at all, thus your opinions about the game are invalid.

Why..? Because you have not been playing Bloodlines, that's why. For over two years, you've been playing a destroyed version of Troika's masterpiece, which has been thoroughly infested with arbitrary and frivolous gameplay and content modifications. I hope you enjoy it. I personally do not... and neither do thousands and thousands of other players. That's why we worked our butts off to produce version 4.04AT. It's really a great piece of work, and one which remains faithful to Troika's intentions. In fact, it is currently the only patch of its type in the world, in that regard.

My purpose for posting this thread was to inform everyone of patch 4.04AT. Not only has that goal been realized, but news of our patch has also been posted on the main page of this website. Mission accomplished and thus, I will leave you to discuss it amongst yourselves. It's been fun exchanging barbs with you, but I honestly don't have any more time for it.

True VTMB Patch 4.04AT was released one week ago today.

Number of downloads thus far: 3881 as of this posting. That averages out to 554 downloads of patch 4.04AT per day.

Considering that the news of this patch has been spreading exclusively by word-of-mouth, that's not too shabby for a first week. Feedback thus far has been very good and we've had no major complaints of any kind.

Citing Wesp to me is a waste of time. That kid has utterly destroyed VTMB and he knows it. If he took the time to grab an English dictionary and look up the word "restore," then he'd know why additional dialogue had to be written for those scenes. Incidentally, the most praised feature of 4.04AT thus far has been that exact same restored scene, which had previously never been seen before. People are loving it. That's what restoration is all about. If we wanted to simply create a clone of version 1.2, then nothing would have been fixed at all. Patch 4.04AT fixes bugs and restores missing and/or incomplete content. Install the patch yourselves and give it a test drive, before you form your opinions. Right now, you're gossiping like little girls and talking in a vacuum -- which may be entertaining, but it's not especially logical or intelligent.

PS -- My forums do not have many users because, unlike the kiddie boards that you are used to, we don't allow children on tessmage.com. We also don't allow assholes, which these days means that there's almost nobody leftover. We're a small and intimate group of adults, and that's just the way I like it. No kids, no brats, no frustrated male virgins who decry nude mods... just grown-ups having fun. With any luck, you may experience that feeling yourself some day.

I'm with WalkingDude here - in my opinion, the game was patched so well to begin with that a re-patching (from the ground up, no less) is simply redundant. Unless you're making humongous changes, the stuff begins to just mesh together after a bit.

That, and you (the OP) seem to have an really, really bitter personality or something. Drop the pseudointellectual, poser-like rambling and take on some humility; it doesn't matter if you patched Bloodlines or solved world hunger, being a jackanape about it won't net you many fans.
